I know this is going to be a pain in the A......
uninstall all versions of your AMD/catalyst then restart your computer, then reinstall the latest software, the AMD people recommend you do it that way to avoid any lingering issues like a .dll with the driver version 10.10 stamped somewhere in it that the game reads giving you that error.
While your tinkingering around under the hood, make sure to updat the microsoft .NET framework also as there is a hotfix released after DAI was released, supposedly to fix a corruption error the game causes.
if your driver is still reading as 10.10 there could also be a DirectX issue you may need to update to the latest release also.
try those and please let us know what fixes your issues so others can try it also.
I have, actually, done the update for my AMD Radion, which is at this point the 14.11.2 beta update because I figured better safe than sorry since I've heard the game can be buggy and may as well download that one so that I'll hit any potential Direct X bugs before they can pop up.
Its still giving me the error though, which is troublesome, even though I followed the procedure of uninstalling all the AMD stuff, then instaling the updated driver.
Also, do you know if not having the latest microsoft .net framework would cause this error? Because if so what is the latest version of that.Otherwise, I am attempting to repair the game through Origin.
not 100% posative if not having the latest drivers could cause the issue, just know that people have solved their issues by updating. as PC's are like people not every fix will solve everyones issues, but for troubleshooting would it hurt to try and update?
No change, unfortunatly after updating .net
Repairing the game also did nothing.
Going to try and just update to 13.12, and see if that fixes it.
