I have, actually, done the update for my AMD Radion, which is at this point the 14.11.2 beta update because I figured better safe than sorry since I've heard the game can be buggy and may as well download that one so that I'll hit any potential Direct X bugs before they can pop up.
Its still giving me the error though, which is troublesome, even though I followed the procedure of uninstalling all the AMD stuff, then instaling the updated driver.
Also, do you know if not having the latest microsoft .net framework would cause this error? Because if so what is the latest version of that.
Otherwise, I am attempting to repair the game through Origin.
not 100% posative if not having the latest drivers could cause the issue, just know that people have solved their issues by updating. as PC's are like people not every fix will solve everyones issues, but for troubleshooting would it hurt to try and update?
No change, unfortunatly after updating .net
Repairing the game also did nothing.
Going to try and just update to 13.12, and see if that fixes it.
Right, that didn't work so I am back at square one. I've got the update, but its telling me that I don't.
I'm going to just go to bed, so if anyone else has any ideas I'd love to hear them.
Try running Driver Uninstaller, http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html before installing the latest video card driver.
