Help with origin account/the keep/importing a world

I have the xbox one version of DA:I

So I made a new origin account and used it to carefully recreate my decisions from the first 2 games in the keep. I saved my world state and now that I actually have the game I have no idea what to do. I started up the game and made sure I was logged into the dragon age servers. I go to new game and nothing happens. I'm prompted to create my character. How do I import a save? Doesn't my gamertag have to be linked to my origin account or something? How else could it know where to import the save?

This is a bit confusing as I just want to play the game but I don't want to play without all my choices

Anyone? I made sure to export the save on the keep website. My problem is just that I'm not getting any prompt to import while starting the game. I'm not even sure what is supposed to happen so I don't know what to do

Same issue. Have an Origin account but can't get it to load on the Xbox One version, nor can I load my saved world from the Keep onto the new game.
  • If your Xbox Live account is not connected to Origin, you can link them by heading into the Origin application on your nearest computer, going to the 'Add a Friend' option, and select the option to sync your Xbox Live account.

If you already have your Xbox Live account linked to an Origin account, but it's not the correct Origin account, you can change the emails around on your Origin accounts on your own, you contact EA Support so they can do it for you. In bold, I've included steps on how you can do it on your own.

Log into Origin with the account that is linked to the Dragon Age Keep. Click on 'Origin' in the upper left corner and select 'Account and Privacy.' You can see all of your linked accounts here, as well as change the email address on file. Change your email address to one that isn't linked to an Origin account to free up the email address that is linked to the Dragon Age Keep.

Log out of this Origin account.

If you know the email address for the Origin account your Live account is connected to, log into that account on a computer. If you've never used those credentials to log into Origin on a computer before, you will be prompted to create a username and verify your email address.

Once you are logged into Origin, click on 'Origin' in the upper left corner and select 'Account and Privacy' again. You will notice that your linked XBLive or PSN account will be listed here. Change the email address on file to the email address that is linked to the Dragon Age Keep. This will ensure that the Origin account with your Keep information is the same Origin account that is linked to your XBLive and PSN.

If you aren't able to remember your Origin credentials for the account that you use on your console, then go ahead and contact EA Support for further assistance.

If your accounts are linked correctly and your content still isn't importing correctly, I'd contact EA Support for that issue, too.

You can contact EA Support by heading to http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/. Make sure that the website is set to the correct country before submitting the ticket!
