How can I issue commands?

I'm playing DAI on a PC and haven't been able to issue individual commands to my companions. Is there is a key for it? I know there's one for a Radial Map on a Game Pad,but how do you do it on a PC?

You can switch into tactical view by pushing the key "t" if you didn't change it. You can pause the game then and issue commands to every character in your party separately. If you did change it (on purpose or by accident) you can simply go into the key bindings section of the options and look up the key for tactical view 🙂

For general commands like "attack my target" that will affect the entire party, there are also short keys which can be seen in the UI at the bottom right of your screen.

  • You can give basic commands on the quick bar or by pressinh hotkeys. For instance, Y means 'attack my target'.

For more specific actions, take control of the other characters by clicking on their protraits or pressing their hotkeys (ranging from F1 to F4).
