How do I continue my Dragon Age Keep world state from PS3 to PS4?

I played Dragon Age Inquisition on PS3 in 2014.

Bioware decided not to continue creating DLC for PS3.

I've just bought a PS4 and transferred my save game data to PS4. The game picked up where I left off.

However, the Dragon Age Keep does not record any of the choices I make when playing the game on the PS4.

When I logged in to the game, I hit EXTRAS and selected the Dragon Age Keep, but a message comes up that directs me to the Dragon Age Keep site. I've gone back there, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.

I could try exporting my world state again, but I get a warning that says that importing this World State will replace the current active World State in your game slot, and asks if I'd like to continue. But now I'm confused. IS there a World State in my game slot? Will it overwrite the choice I've made in Jaws of Hakon?

I just have no idea. Anyone know how to connect a world state?

I see that the Keep says my last modification was 12 days ago, which would have been the day I logged in to the PS3 to save the game for transfer onto the PS4.

    Update:

It appears that for JAWS OF HAKON and TRESPASSER the Keep was unlocking choices, but not assigning them to the tapestry, so I could go in and select the choices I had made.

The Keep did not unlock or record choices made in DESCENT.

It also did not unlock or record any choices in Operations when playing the base game.

So the Descent and Operations issues were a bug, and the Jaws of Hakon and Trespasser issues were not necessarily a bug (since they unlocked), but just didn't display as "chosen" until I did it manually.

I turned on the Show Spoilers in the Keep and selected the choices that I made for Operations and Descent, so I guess I'm good now.

  • @Drammattex Importing world states from the Keep only makes a difference to new games (and then only if you choose to use the custom world state), so messing with that on the Keep should make no difference to your current playthrough.

Are you logged in to the correct account/s in game? I'm not overly familiar with the console versions but it seems you need to be on the same PSN and EA account (though if importing your save worked I would assume you are). I have personally found (on PC) that the DLC decisions in the Keep don't always seem to go into the Keep properly. That may just be me, though.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Thanks, Niah. Yes, it's strange. The game does continue from where I left off but nothing in Descent or Jaws of Hakon updates and the Keep shows my last update as the last time I logged into the PS3. It just doesn't recognize the PS4 play, even though it says it's connecting to EA servers at the beginning. Maybe you need to subscribe to PS Plus. I have no clue.
