how do you use potions in dragon age 2. What keys are necessary.

I can't determine what I need to do to use a stamina potion that i have. What do I click on and how do I use the potion. I have tried everything that I know of.

@vincep After a brief consultation I've been told that you should be able to drag the potion from your inventory to your quickbar. From here just press the appropriate button to use the consumable.
