How well could I run DA Inquisition?

Hey guys, hopefully this question is in an appropriate section of the forum. Basically I'm wondering how well my PC can run DA Inquisition.

Here are my specs:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.6GHz

Memory: 8GB DDR3-1600

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB

I'm mostly worried about the dual-core processor, it's a decent processor for what it is, but I'm not sure how much reliance this game puts on having more cores.

Thanks in advance!

  • While the game has some serious issues with dual core CPUs, this one is hyperthreaded, and some players reported good results. The GPU will run the game fine.

Here's a video of the CPU in action:

You can buy and try the game, but if it's unplayable, you can get a refund under the Great Game Guarantee. You just have to be quick enough. Either within 24 hours after launching the game, or within 7 days of buying (whichever comes first).

  • Thanks for the link, judging from the video it seems that the processor can run the game without major problems.

I already own the game anyway (bought it on sale a while back), so I guess there's no reason not to try it out anyway for myself. Just was a bit curious in finding out beforehand.
