I purchesed the game, but I am showing on my profile that I have it from EA play

I purchased Dragon Age: Inquisition from a 3rd party vendor, when Origin was still a thing. I have been having computer issues, so I had to start from scratch and build a new PC. I use separate SSD's to store all of my personal data, so I can keep it when Windows needs to be reset. I have the receipt for the game, yet EA only recognizes my game as a game through EA play, because I have Microsoft Game Pass. Is there some way that I can get my games that I paid retail for to show on my EA account as full purchases?

I was going to include the invoice, but I have it in .pdf format and that was not allowed. I was shown a notification of the acceptable file types, with .zip being on the list, so I compressed it to a .zip file, and it still says "Unsupported extension type". If anyone needs to see the invoice, I can email it.

As Hero said, need to know the "third party vendor."

If you mean Steam, there is a post at the top of this section specifically for Steam users issues.

Don't see what MS game pass could have to do with it. Rather confusing question TBH.

I just started this game bought on sale from EA a while back (Game of the Year edition Only 580yen which is around $5 US. Some sale in August 2024)

Wow! what a game. No problems running it. It's also beautiful and so far loving the game play.

I had no idea what I was missing out on. Still it all worked out well. Game of the Year edition with Free DLC, on sale; plus I reckon I've got  80 or more

    hours of great gaming ahead.

Happy customer, and to think I almost forgot about it sitting in my library.

I hope it works out for you OP. It's well worth it!!

Let us know if you got it working/activated. If not, EA-Shepard, Hero, can likely help you get it sorted.  Don't give up!!
