inquisition won't close

Recently I can't get inquisition to close.  I have windows 10 and I run avast antivirus.  It worked fine for a long time but now suddenly when I tell it to exit it hangs, for at least five minutes.  ...

    @suzunh

    Initially, try just completely disabling Avast to see if that has an effect.

    If that does not change anything, check if uninstalling recent Windows updates helps (you can reinstall those).

    Clearing your Origin cache also cannot hurt.
