Inquistion. Computer requirements, What computer will run Inquistion?

My laptop will not meet the min requirements.  I will need to buy a desk top computer between 500 to 700 dollar range.  Which new computers will meet the Dragon Age Inquisition requirements.  Don't tell me to look up the requirement page, because those simingly random letters and numbers mean nothing to me.  Please help? suggestion.

  • A $700 mid-range self-built PC would destroy most consoles, with room to improve over time, to boot.  Buying prebuilt in that range will usually get you a really bad power supply and bad integrated graphics - however, Newegg has occasional bargains for prebuilts that actually have decent specs, though, like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220798R.  Quad core i5 3.5 ghz CPU, GTX 760 discrete GPU, 500w power supply, 8GB memory, 1 TB 7200 RPM storage, and an ASUS (a reliable brand) all for $640.  That's pretty much what you would pay to build a gaming PC of similar power, and it will handle Inquisition and most other games that didn't come out yesterday on max settings, no problem.  Open-box deals like that don't last long, but they always come around again, so if you don't get that one, keep an eye out for another like it.  Do not settle for some overpriced Cyberpower or Alienware with half-baked components at ridiculous prices, or a cheapo Dell or HP that charges you for 3TB of storage with horrible integrated graphics.

Below is my 2012 system. I average above 30 FPS in Dragon Age Inquisition. It can go much higher if I turn off eye-candy.

It will not get the highest numbers on PCMark, AIDA64, Cinebench or Passmark.

I am able to play whatever game I install on the computer.

Below are current, January 2015, prices.

    CPU: AMD APU A10-5800k  - $100

    GPU: (integrated in APU 7660d)

    RAM: DDR3 1866 - $70

    Motherboard :  I have the MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 best deal now is F2A88XM-D3H mATX FM2+ A88X - $65

    Heatsink : Evo 212 - $25

    Case with 350W Power supply : - $40

    Mouse, keyboard, Xbox 360 controller  - 15$+$35

HDD : I took my old laptop's HDD. Install a game, play it, delete it .... 250GB is more than enough. )

Overclocking is a pinch. System is quiet and gets the job done.

There are are some HP and Dell computers for 400 to 500 dollar range that would fit the bill.  Im thinking something a little better.
