The PhysX software for "Dragon Age: Origins" is in the ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Origins\redist" folder.
But the game will also run with the newest NVIDIA PhysX software. If it doesn't run you should follow @EA_Kristi advice, because then the PhysX software isn't properly installed.
hi i have the same message .
i am using a AMD RX580 winpro 10. how do i fix this ?

You need to either install PhysX from the game folder, (in my post directly above yours.) or from NVIDIA directly.
The game needs PhysX to be installed to run, regardless of the GPU manufacturer.

Installing after years of not playing (on a new laptop) and found I ran into the same error. While there isn't a redist folder, I was able to download off Nvidia's website and everything worked. Thanks!

I've downloaded the file straight out of the the program files and the website in this message and I still have the same error from the game

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
