Inventory Full taking Litany of Adralla

Hi all.

I'm in my first play through of DA:O.  I've managed to get through the Fade portion of the Broken Circle quest and am back in the tower after defeating the Sloth Demon.  When I try to take the Litany from Niall's body, I get an Inventory Full message even after I break and gift inventory items.

I have 2 special function items in my inventory from mods (dog whistle and no helmet toggle) and am running a few other mods, but there shouldn't be any conflict.

Any thoughts/solutions?

I'm enjoying the game greatly and ahte to drop it after this much time invested.

    I'm not sure how it happened but on closer inspection, I find my inventory is at 73/70!  When I gift or destroy 4 items, the game allows me to pick up the litany. 

    Sorry for not noticing the surplus; any idea how that happened?
