Hi Ursula,
The issue I'm having is none of the downloadable content is showing up, despite having been downloaded by the installer (approximately 7.9GB, so I'm not interested in pulling that down the wire again). Therefore, the "other content" menu option is "greyed" out.
- Windows 8 Enterprise x64.
- Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition; digital download using the Origin client.
- Origin client.
- Different location (separate drive).
- Given it's done through the installer, it's not really a post-installation requirement. I could readily try the social network, but at this stage given the volume, I'm not interested in doing so.
- Yes.
- Not applicable at this point.
- Not applicable.
- I ensured the Content Updater service was started prior to checking again, but the result is the same insofar as the DLC screen is blank.
- I cannot log into the community account from within the game. There's no problems doing so from the Origin client or social network (browser), but the game repeatedly states that the password is incorrect after having presented and accepted the EULA.
Cheers,
Lain
Edited to say I've resolved my particular issue.
I run with a non-priviliged user account which therefore is not the same account as Dragon Age was installed with. I copied "<userprofile>\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings\AddIns.xml" over from the installation account path to the same location in my normal account and all of the addins have shown up.
