Right, I've had a go at trying to fix the potential problem with nvidia audio drivers.
I'm afraid i havent had much joy. I tried to uninstall the audio drivers but couldnt find them to do so.
I then had a look at the device manager, thinking that i would disable the audio driver associated with my graphics card - i managed to find said drivers only to find they were *already* disabled.
I then tried doing a clean install of my graphics drivers - my thought process was that if the clean install removed everything and i did not choose to install the audio drivers all would be well. It turns out that either the nvidia drivers no longer bundle audio drivers with graphics drivers (there was no option to choose audio drivers as an optional extra, as there was before), or audio drivers are bundled in with graphics card drivers and there is no way to choose to not install them.
Either way, I've had no joy with anything I've tried. Am I missing somthing? Or am I being screwed by Nvidia's change in practice?
Any help would be brilliant. I'm getting quite PO'ed about this now, especialy as I am suddenly getting CTDs in multiplayer too.
Have you removed the Nvidia drivers? Disabling them didn't do the job for me. It only worked after removing them entirely.

Ok, a couple of updates here.
I've tested since the patch and unfortunately the issue still exsists, so no hope of an easy fix there.

Unfortunately, as I said in my other post, I can't seem to remove the audio drivers.
It used to be that the audio drivers were installed as a seperate entity from the graphics drivers, etc, and so could be removed as a seperate thing.
As it is now, they are not showing up in my Control Panel/Programs and Features. All I am able to see (and uninstall) is
NVIDIA Geforce Experience,
NVIDIA Graphics Driver 344.75
and
NVIDIA PhysX System Software 9.14.0702
Which means I cannot uninstall the audio drivers. At least, not without uninstalling the graphics drivers - which is not an option, I'm afriad.I tried a clean install (which removes EVERYTHING before installing), hoping that the advanced settings would allow me to choose not to install the audio drivers. Alas, it was not so.
