Is it possible to select all party members at once during battle or ever?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section because I could not determine if this is technical or a walkthrough issue. Essentially I am asking about a tactical function that I need as a workaround for what is a game breaking bug.

Spoiler
I am avoiding describing the actual dungeon because of spoilers but it has lots of spiders and Deepstalkers that you need for getting Spider ichor and deepstalker hides for a requisition/supply quest and its near a coastline.

Inside of a dungeon there is an entrance blocked by a rock but it allows you to see in the room where a battle is taking place.

The AI keeps routing my party members to the blocked entrance with a view into the room, while I route my main character into the room through the proper entrance.

I end up fighting the battle alone because the rest of the party is stuck at the blocked entrance because it is the shortest distance to the enemy.

The party will not actually reroute properly until I am well into the second room where they again refuse to enter the room because of another obstructed entrance with a view into the room. refusing to use proper entrance. They finally end up fighting with me when I "climb" a ladder where they join me for battle but if I go further into the next room, they again get stuck behind a wall and leave me to fight alone.

In DA2 I would simply select the entire party by dragging the lasso command or using keystrokes and have them route the correct way and fight with me but in DA:I I cannot find a way to select the entire party.

I tried moving each individual party member to the correct entrance but it ends up with the controlled character in the room and the others routing back to the blocked entrance.

I tried routing each party member to the proper entrance and choosing " Hold Position" but none of the party will hold positon, they instead separate from the the controlled character and go back to the blocked entrance.

I even tried using an entire party of ranged characters because they can shoot from a distance but again, they cannot aim or shoot from the hole that they can see into the battle area with.

Essentially I would have to fight the entire dungeon alone because the party refuses to take the proper entrance.

My questions :

Is there a way to select all party members for a group command like in DA2?

Is it possible to instruct a character while in tactical or regular[ or in any mode]  to hold position where it actually makes the character stay in place?

In the tactical mode, when I click on any of the commands on the bottom right, "hold position" "disengage" etc OR use my key board binding for attack my target, it selects all party members for that command.

I usually move the toons to one spot, go to the tactical mode, click on "hold position"  then take over the toon I want to move or attack with.  Ensure in behavior you have the three you want to stand still as guarding each other, because if they are defending or following the selected toon, the hold position wont last longer than one round.  Hope this helps and please select problem solved if it is what your were looking for 🙂

One needs to move them as a group to stop the dragon breathing on them all at once as they stand there like sitting ducks.  It's not really an alternative to stand them in a group to ensure they are sitting ducks.  And a lot of hassle to be controlling them individually for such a simple task.
