Is there a fix in the pipe for multiplayer?

Currently these are the bugs that my friends and I are experiencing constantly:

  1. Losing experience and items for whatever disconnect.  The gold will save in real-time, however the experience and items that you retrieve are lost to the fade when you are bugged out and screwed from the key bug and have to quit and random crashes.
  2. Obviously the key bug, and the inability to force host transfer/zone reset. so you can avoid. or repair this on your own.
  3. Seemingly random crashes that nuke the game without CTD error messages at different times for whatever reason, happens when migrating hose, completing objectives, failing objectives.  Sometimes it seems to be random, sometimes it seems to be tied to something happening in the level.  This could very well be tied to the NVIDIA DX/Windows argument.  The saving grace here is as you are black-screened out to CTD you can see the little savegame icon work for a second in the bottom right hand corner.
  4. Objective Failed Hang: where it takes upwards of 5 - 10 minutes for the game to register the end.  Supposedly you are sitting in a lobby idling at this point? or some players are alive under the level?
  5. Downloading Data disconnection with error:  after a longer-than-usual wait on downloading data after a match you are effectively disconnected due to an error that cancels all items and experience
  6. Phasing/invisible graphics error:  I've never had this (I run on a 780 ti), but I've heard other people in games and a friend that plays with a GeForce GTX 260 gets a random glitch where all the world models disappear except for the pathing core for the level, he cannot see walls, hills. enemies, or anything else except the ground.  He is effectively disabled from playing the game and may or may not be fixed by being teleported to the next zone door.
  7. Joining game with no movement.  Others, as well as myself, have this bug where we join the game and are A - Have full GUI, mouse, can cast, click, hit escape, but cannot MOVE our characters with the movement keys.  or B - spawn into a level with no GUI visible, and can ONLY cast spells/abilities, with no movement, escape key, or anything else available.  This bug seems to only happen when joining a game already in progress.  I have noticed that when this bug happens to me, the game will flash as if I am in a hill with no walls/models rendered, and then spawn me at the entrance spawn.
  8. Player hitbox size: feels off-scale as it can sometimes be impossible to move through visually open space between players and a door, however you are blocked from doing so.
  9. Death/revive bugs: players being completely unable to be revived as they are not selectable to be clicked on and revived as they are crawling.  The "death siphon" ability granting life to people eligible for revive/recently dead effectively bringing them back to life (not sure if this is intentional).  Being able to crawl at full run speed.  Once I was randomly respawned with full life without being revived and my party members saw me as a fast moving dead body, but I could attack and cast, deal damage, yet when they died I was still "alive" but the objective failed.
  10. Spirit/Lingering Pet:  Don't act like pets, often stand there idle, sometimes don't come back as spirits but as the living model of the enemy, doesn't register as a real death as Chest Guardians must be released for the chest to unlock.
  11. Shield Characters have no Strafe/backpedal:  This is a huge concern because as a shield character I am constantly turning backwards and getting pelted in my backside when trying to move backwards or turning left or right when I need to sidestep.  Also feels like the shield mechanic doesn't act as a shield as the NPC templars/Venatori.  The archer has the strafe mechanic, so maybe this would be an easy fix?
  12. Beasts Aggro entire zone: When NPCs are fighting beasts the entire zone will aggro to the player.
  13. Push-to-talk: Often activates without being pushed.
  14. Black screen upon connecting:  Sometimes while connecting the game seems to hang on the black loading screen and never initiates the level.
  15. Rings salvage:  Or other blues, not sure if this is intended, but blue gems salvaged for all three items (cloth, leather, metal), but any other blue items don't?  Especially rings, etc?
  16. Pull of the Abyss:  Often the mobs teleport randomly around the screen and back and forth, and then after it disengages they teleport to a player fully attacking them (this is not the intended mechanic as it would seem to cause a knockback explosion, but an actual random teleportation of the mob then being in full run and attack mode).  Also, archers will still fire normally while being pulled (intentional?). 
  17. Single-Sword Bearing Enemies:  Is it intended for single swordbearing enemies (Venatori for example) to block just as well as the enemies with the 6ft tower shield?  Effectively blocking almost everything thrown at them?  This guy blocks better than the Legionnare or Templar ever could dream and he doesn't even have a shield! lol.
  18. Red Templar Lyrium Archers:  Is it intended for these projectiles to be homing around corners and through walls?

    I feel you bro this **bleep** is starting to **bleep** me off. **bleep** Beta **bleep**. Who the **bleep** beta tested Multiplayer is what i want to know.

    Phew! I thought it was just me and my PC that was having these issues.  Almost 3 hours of playing to finish 1 campaign without glitching is getting silly.

    p.s. You forgot: 

    1.  Almost finishing the campaign and then "Host migration in progress" So you start again and then you get it again and again and eventually you get "unable to connect to host " and booted to Main screen.  You reciceve no achievements for doing 90% of 4 or 5 campaigns, and from what I can see no achievments for kills.

    2.  Falling through the world happened a few times over the last few days for me.

    3.  Final boss (everything else dead) not wanting to die and just stands there looking at you with a smile on its face while you get bored hitting it.  It dosn't attack as it has no health but it dosn't want to die and give out the last bit of xp/gold.

    7 out of 10 games are glitchy with me. I have over 100'00 experience with 4 of my characters now and not had any more than 100 operations completed (if that) and all but 2 of them have been routine (so you can imagine how long it would take)

  • Most assuredly this is going to be fixed. EA counts on micro-transactions from MP to make them money. I wouldn't be surprised if Patch 3 is 90% multiplayer fixes and... the walk toggle fix for PC.

    A groop of friends and I play different multi player games at least twice a week, we were planning to play DAI multiplayer for at least a few months. After 3 weeks of this BS, we don't plan on ever playing it again.

  • I've had 5 disconnects in a matter of an hour. This is starting to get unplayable.

    I second everything originally said...  It is really hard to keep playing when you have 4 out of 5 matches bug out....  Multiplayer is awesome,  but it is very bugged!   The key glitch is by far the worst! Don't worry about new content,  fix what's broken!
