Most assuredly this is going to be fixed. EA counts on micro-transactions from MP to make them money. I wouldn't be surprised if Patch 3 is 90% multiplayer fixes and... the walk toggle fix for PC.
A groop of friends and I play different multi player games at least twice a week, we were planning to play DAI multiplayer for at least a few months. After 3 weeks of this BS, we don't plan on ever playing it again.
