Killed Kaltenzahn Dragon and loot fell into out of bounds area

Last night I killed two of the dragons in Emprise du Lion: Hivernal and Kaltenzahn. The head of Hivernal landed in front of me and I retrieved the loot. After I killed the second dragon Kaltenzahn, his head flew over the wall and landed in an out of bounds area at the base of the south wall. I ran down the stairs and tried to get to it and the area that it fell into is out of bounds and I can not retrieve the loot. As you know the loot from the dragons is excellent and I would like to have it credited to my character. Could someone please help me with this? Thanks

I contacted the help desk at Origin and they told me to place this problem on the forums

Went ahead and killed the dragon again. Wasn't worth the wait for help. Talked with EA tech and that was what he suggested. The Developers will see this problem and maybe address it. As a side note, I moved to a different location and the head still flew into the area of the stairs which is where the first one landed, but outside of the wall. A couple of times I fell outside of the boundary and the rest of my group followed suit. So we were all stuck outside of the location. Something is definitely wrong with the coding at this location at the base of the stairs leading up to Kaltenzahn. Hope they fix this for others.

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately when stuff like this happens the only real option is to reload and kill again, or "be careful" when going for the killing blow. sorry for the unsatisfying answer, but I'd rather not waste time.

Not waste time? You made this game......This is the second time this has happened and in the same area. Please fix the game.

As noted in your duplicate topic about this exact same issue, the AHQ is for player-to-player technical help and game-play discussions.

We're all fellow gamers, doin' the best we can.

Posting bugs and glitches here might get you some workarounds, that's what it's for. But if you think you're talking to the BioWare developers you're mistaken.

Thanks to everyone who steered me to the right forum. I was given this specific forum from the troubleshooting people after I spent two hours online. I wish they were given better instructions as to where to go. Thanks again to all who helped.

I also had this problem. the loot of some dragonlings en kaltenzahn disappeared onder the ground above the stairs. I cann't reached them.

Please see the accepted solution. I know that isn't what you want to hear but, it happens to me sometimes too and, I have to reload and kill the creature(s) again to get my loot. Yes, re doing boss and dragon fights is annoying but, it really is the only workable solution to out of bounds loot. As David said last year, be careful where the beasts are when you land the killing blow. Use disengage and make the beast chase you a bit if you need to get it moved to a better drop location.
