Load DAOUE save file to DAOA Expansion pack

Hey, i had bought and played dragon age origins ultimate edition all the wy through awakening, however at the end of awakening it froze up on me so i never really finished it.

Now i want to finish it and i was wondering if i bought the Dragon Age origins Awakening Disc by itself, Could i Load my save file from The Ultimate Edition to the Awakening game?

Sorry, I understood you to mean that you currently had the UE on-hand.

So yes, you can load a saved game from another install of Dragon Age into DAA...
But no, you need DAO as well to use it.

BTW: You can download and install DA/UE for NO CHARGE if you registered it with EA/BioWare site when you first got it.

DAA requires that DAO be installed in order to run. (By itself it does not include all the necessary core files.)
But beyond that, since you already have the UE, why would you buy DAA again?

i dont have it now, so i was wanting to just buy awakening and then finish it up for 10 dollars rather than pay 24 dollars for UE
