Logitech Gamepad won't work?

Hi there,

I'm trying to play the game using a logitech gamepad, but I can't get it to work. I've tried xbox 360ce, and that isn't working either. I've tried just plugging it in and playing, that doesn't work. For some reason the shoulder buttons seem to have function, but literally none of the face buttons or sticks will work?

Has anyone figured out how to play this with a logitech gamepad?

Thanks for your help!

    I have the exact same problem with my logitech dual action gamepad. The buttons do not bind the xbox buttons properly for the game. The shouder triggers act as the xbox's A and B buttons, pressing down the left stick is the start button, and none of the other buttons do anything. I hope bioware patches this or adds key re-binding for gamepads in the options menu.

    Exactly this, I have a generic USB controller and I've tried a clean boot, x360ce (like 3 different versions), disconnecting all other usb devices (only logitech mouse) and nothing worked.

    Just like you , left stick is Start, trigger is A button and the rest do nothing.

    Why do you clowns always use non-compatible things then act surprised something isn't working properly, then tell the person who says use official compatible items to solve you're problems to get lost, then continue using the same things you've been told is going to be a problem then complaining?

    Of course a non-compatible controller is going to give you problems what did you think was going to happen

    The permanent solution for this issue that will always plague you gamers, is to get an actual 360 official controller made by Microsoft

    The newer Logitech controllers work just fine (mine is F310).  They are identified as Xbox controllers right off the bat.

    @johudak

    You're missing the whole point and ar saying something that's completely untrue. A Logitech controller isn't being recognized/identified as a 360 controller because it's not a 360 controller. Only 360 controllers have the drivers to be recognized/identified as a 360 controller. And unless the logitech controller is now using 360 drivers (Which i'ts not and never will) It doesn;t matter if the controller gets picked up when you plug it in. It's not a 360 controller so.

    Games on the PC use a MS operating system which means only MS hardware is comatible with it. All games are programed to only pick up MS products in that regard because they're on a MS system. So people are going to have a problem with any ontroller that isn't an actual 360 official controller.

    That's all I'm saying.

  • Yeah,

    it won't work because Microsoft would rather charge through the nose and force people to buy their expensive controllers rather than let people purchase a slightly cheaper controller that's within their price range and can literally do the exact same things.

    Just another sign of a rip-off and corrupted industry.
