Loot dissapearing or changing

So before the patch 2 that came out today, when i filled up my inventory, i was able to go to a merchant, sell my items, come back into the area where i played and pick up any remaining loot that was left over.. now after the patch, if i leave the area and come back all the loot is gone.. so if i had items i didnt get a chance to pick up ue to full inventory they would be gone... also if there is a chest i didnt loot, when i come back its different itmes in it every time... not sure if this is how it was originally intended to work or if this is a new bug..
