In my opionion, this might not be a game issue, but a driver or network issue. (PC) Have you ensured all hardware drivers are up to date, including the network and sound drivers. They have been known to cause multi-player issues, especially when single player plays without a hitch.
Also, depending on your router, check its setting, However, if this is the only game you are having the issue with, I doubt it is the router.

Thanks for your reply, Fawlkon.
My drivers are up to date and Dragon Age is the only Game in which I have these troubles. =(
Some public multiplayer games i can join, some i cannot (lost connection to the session). My friend has the same issue here.
Private games with said friend are sadly not possible. Wether i try to invite him or he invites me, we get stuck in the "lost connection...." loop.
We tried it with disabling firewall, open all ports manually and even bypass all ports. Sadly nothing of this helped in any way.

I'm in the same boat. About every fifth or so game I MIGHT be able to stay in, however even that isn't guarenteed. Also tried playing with friends last night, when one of them was host, I got stuck in an infinite loop, however when we switched to teh other one being host I got in first try. This really makes no sense to me, however I'm not a tech person, but more of a "if it works, great" type of person. MP on any other game works fine for me too.
