told support about these threads, whether they respond or not wil show if posting here is just a way for them to be rid of us or if they really care
Edit:
Please don't worry. The issue you are facing is a known issue and many players worldwide are facing the same issue. This is all happening due to a server generated issue and our maintenance work is under progress.
From support ^
Hi everyone,
If you are still experiencing this issue at this stage, we would like to ask you the to provide a bit more info to us:
- Are you connected via Wi-Fi or cable?
- Does the issue appear every time you try, or rather intermittently?
- If intermittently, does it appear to be time based (e.g. doesn't work at a certain time of the day) or rather just random (e.g. I get in 5 out of 10 attempts, no pattern).
- Which platform are you on?
- How is your router setup?
- Anything additional that you might have noticed that could be relevant.
Cheers,
Nils

I'm still having said problem with a friend of mine (also in quick matches it seems, though that is at random).
1:I'm connected through cable.
2:Every time.
4: PC.
5:Router setup is with enabled uPnP and port forwarded through the ports that i found somewhere else for DA:I, but forwarding shouldn't have been needed with uPnP activated.
6:We have managed to play together before, but that was through a proxy (another friend hosted).
Another note I have setup a lan network through hamachi and given it priority and we still can't connect, this is not a port issue or uPnP, there is something serverside stopping us.

1. Cable. I have tried both though.
2. Every time I try to play with friends, otherwise it randomly works in quick matches.
3. Haven't really played it enough to suspect it works better during a certain time-frame.
4. PS4
5. I have port-forwarded every port listed on your website, the NAT type is set to 2 on the PS4 (which should be enough to connect) and I can play FIFA, BF4, etc without issues.
6. Nothing, sorry. - Anonymous11 years ago
- Wifi
- Every time I try joining the game of a friend. 50% of the time when I try to join public matchmaking.
- Happens always
- PC
- uPnP, Ports Forwarded in Router Settings. Also Ports Forwarded in Windows Firewall.
- In matchmaking I often get connected because I hear the voice chat. But then I get disconnected again before I even see the lobby.
- Anonymous11 years ago
1) WiFi
2) It happens 95% of the time. I connected to one lobby on 11/22/14 played a few rounds, have yet to connect to another match since.
3) n/a
4) xb1
5) open Nat, with standard Xbox ports forwarded. Only game I have issue with, all other EA games work fine.
6) xbox recent players list show me connecting, but I never show up on screen in the game.
7) When fixing this please boot back to the previous screen. I don't want to go back to the main MP screen to reselect quick match, and then search just to get booted back to the main page everytime. If I lose connection just let me search again, without all the extra load screens.
- Anonymous11 years agoAgreed. Not only is it ridiculously hard to get through without losing connection to the session, but I feel like I have an hour of loading screens before I can try searching again...if we lose the connection to the session you could at least just reset to the search screen. Giving EA a hand in this game was a terrible idea. They need to stick to sports games. Good luck to everyone. It is rare to hear back from EA support or expect a fix. They have their money, who cares if we like it or not. EA needs to stay away from our RPGs or hire an actual support team. Terrible company. I personally will not be buying anything else with an EA stamp on it if this is what we can expect.
- Anonymous11 years ago1. Connected with cable.
2. Have not been able to play at all.
3. N/a
4. Ps4
5. Have opened all ports you guys have suggested. Don't have issues with any other game.
6. This is affecting 3 friends aswell. We are all in the EU. - Anonymous11 years ago
1. Cable
2. Every time i try to play in a random group. 10-15 times in a row. rarely when i try to connect to private game.
3. Its there all teh time.
4. PC
5. I tried to put my PC in DMZ, i forwarded ports, i have UPnP enabled - nothing helps.
6. Restarting helps. If you cant get into a friend game - restart the game or, better, restart the PC. sometimes it solves the issue with private games. Public games are screwed all the time.

I cannot connect to anyone from my country. I live in Croatia (Europe) and whenever someone from Croatia invites me and I try to join it gives me this message. But I have a friend who lives in Canada and with him I have no problems connecting. I am playing on my PS4 and I had this same issue with Mass Effect 3 on the PS3 when I was playing it. Me and my friend would have to wait for my Canadian friend to make a lobby and invite us in order for us to be able to play together. Now it's the same way with Dragon Age.
1. Cable
2. Every time (with people from my country)
3. Every time
4. PS4
5. My router is on its default settings, but it shouldn't matter because other games and Shareplay and chat work flawlessely
6. It seems only local (on a country scale) for me, but that is the most important part of the game because I want to play the multiplayer with my friends and not with random people
- Anonymous11 years ago
1. Wifi
2. Intermittently
3. Random, i can sometimes play 5 games in a row, and other times it wil happen 10 out of 10 times
4. Xbox 360
5. Dynamic IP for my xbox, attached to a cable modem. Typical LAN setup.
6. nope good luck finding it is ruining the game

SO here we are almost 2 months after this thread was started and no sign of a sollution..
Time to move on I guess. Thanks to BioWare for an amazing SP experience. Can't post an opinion on the MP since it never works, ever, and that's a shame but...there are other games out there. And life too I supose :P

- Wifi N band
- Intermittently
- No pattern
- Win7 Laptop
- Virgen Super Hub not been touched
- Even with out being connected to the net. I still get this error on single player. I do not play multiplayer on this game.
