Love waits (Quest) - The Hinterlands (Area) bugged

After I picked up the letter from the dead body, the quest updated and said to "inform Berand of Vellina's death". However, the quest just leads me to the middle of no where on the map and nothing ha...

Same problem on the PC. Met him in the Tavern. Got his quest. Found Vellina's body. The marker says he's now out in the middle of nowhere. He's not. Went to the Tavern where I met him. He's not there either... Quest remains uncompleted... *sigh*

Edit: Unselected quest as the main active objective. Saved the game and logged out near the Tavern. Reloaded the game and Berand was walking on the 2nd floor balcony. Completed quest.
