My game crashed right after I respect my character, after I reloaded the game my character could no longer use basic (r2 button) attacks, I've tryed reloading, loading old characters, and Evan making entirely new characters all together with no success, can anyone help me?

Sounds like you need to re-build your config file. There's a thread here with a similar problem and deleting the file and allowing the game to re-create it solved it. Let me look for the thread.

I'm on a ps4, I don't think it's possible to mess with the config files, is it?

I've tryed deleting all my saves, and completely uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, and still I can't use basic attacks, and am stuck in the tutorial where you first learn how to attack, after falling of the bridge

Please note that this glitch makes my game completely unplayable after the 1st cutscene

Can you remap the attack action to a different button??Does that button work on other games??Do you have another controller??

I can't connect to the server, so I can't do anything with the multiplayer

As far as I could tell the server has been down sense before I bought the game, (if not there's more wrong with my game than I thought)

Yeah, the MP server should be available. I take it that other games can connect ok?

It seems that I'm only having problems connecting with dragon age games (I can't connect to the server on dragon age 1 and 2 on my old ps3)

OK I noticed after another game where the default shoot/attack button is r2 and it doesn't work, but if I change the control setting where r2 button is aim instead of shoot, it works fine, so is it my controller or game system?
I've never had a problem like this before, I'm still sure that this problem started when inquisition crashed so what could of caused it?
If there's no possible fix is there a way to change the default controls for inquisition that I'm not seeing?

Anyway thanks for all the help, as far as I can tell its my controller, although I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
It seems to have a really weird/specific problem with the r2 button, and hopefully getting a new controller will fix it, although I can't be sure

OK finally got a new controller and that seemed to fix the issue (sorry it took so long, the cheapest one was like $60) anyway I don't really want to start a new game until I can connect to dragon age keep, thanks again btw.
