If not, I'm not too sure how to troubleshoot the Amazon installer, but the next step I'd take would be to try running it as an administrator.
Trying to reinstall. Getting an error: "Use Windows Features ON/off to configure or install Microsoft .Net Framework sp2" or something. I'm on Windows 10. Windows Features says .Net framework 3.5 includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0, and all the boxes are checked. What's this all about?

Hmmm, I can't say I've encountered this recently. Out of interest, was this system upgraded to Windows 10, or was it always a W10 system?
Anyway, on your issue can you go to the Control Panel, then Programs & Features? Click the "turn windows features on or off" button then wait for the list to populate. If Windows .NET framework is unticked, try ticking it and clicking ok.
If it's already on try toggling it off then on again, and check again.
