I am bumping this thread to bring attention to the issue -- attention that is direly needed as I believe enough people are experiencing the problem.
Here is a link to a video (not mine) showcasing one of the more pervasing and distracting moments where this bug is prevalent.
Mr. Odd - Let's Play Dragon Age: Inquisition - Part 10 - Travel to Val Royeaux [Elf Mage]
The strange this is, initially there doesn't seem to be a problem. The shoulders of the elf seem perfectly fine, the body doesn't look decrepit or bugged. At around 26:32, the shoulders then seem to snap and the arms are glued to the ribs. But the greatest offender is at around 26:54. The arms swing through the elf's body. Seriously?
How can this still be part of the game a month after release and almost three years of development? It's not good enough I'm afraid, Bioware.
In comparison, here is the same scene when played as a human male rogue (again, not my video).
The inconsistency would be laughable if it weren't so ridiculous.
Dragon Age Inquisition - Arriving in Val Royeaux
I implore someone from Bioware (or EA) to watch these two examples -- hell, play it for yourselves if you have time -- and do something to fix it. It should not be left up to modders to fix this broken element of your game.
The tactical camera needs tweaking, this much is true, but whereas that issue could be considered a design and implementation issue, this is not. This is just negligence.
