I went to the little temple for the meauring the veil quest, levitated the rocks, cleared the demons, and grabbed my veil light.. When I went to go "use the artitifact" as intrustcted by my quest guide I just wander around the room with nothing there. I did watch a video of this quest being completed and where the artifact is supposed to be I have nothing..If Someone could let me know how to fix this or who to contact I would greatly appreciate it.
Mine is on PC. Mine was there at first, but I wanted to kill the elf there. Because she was level 14 I reloaded and left so I could come back and kill her when I was a higher level. Problem is now that I am a high enough level, she is no longer there and also the orb thingee is no longer there either.
I don't think you are supposed to be able to activate any artifacts BEFORE you do the one in the cave. So it sounds like you did create a bug...or more exact...Bioware created an issue when they didn't lock off all artifacts and instead let you get to one too eary to cause the bug.
I had this issue when I first was playing the game. I went in with Solas in party, killed the badguys, and no glowy globe was there. I left and have tried coming back multiple times throughout my now 115 hours of game play on the same save game, and still nothing. EA help suggested that the save game is corrupted for that quest for some reason, and that the only way to know about if it was fixed is to restart a previous save and try it again. After 115 hours, I'm not going back to the beginning of the game, though :P
