Mini map is blank PC
The mini map in the bottom left hand corner is blank. The quest points are there and it shows which direction they are in but there are no features on the mini map.

It's been designed that way. You have to open the quest map from the start menu if you need more precise positioning.
So I guess I just missed that part completely?

Well they don't mention it, but look at screenshots and gameplay vids on the internet and you'll see that it's always been that way. 🙂
That's a terrible design choice. Why forcing players to interrupt their gameplay by constantly having to check with the map instead of giving them a handy tool to instantly see where they are? I mean: your own location is even being shown on the map, so what would it hurt or take away from the challenge to simply add a real minimap?
