Missing Companions at Skyhold

cant be 100% sure all the time that they should be in there spots, but the collition mesh is there when i can't see my companions.
Most of the times it is "the" iron bull and cole.
I would walk where cole normally stands but something is blocking my path on his exact spot.
seen this happen with cole, bull, cullen, blackwall.
Like the post above, i waited and after some time (around a minute) most of them suddenly showed up
same problem and in the past they all seem to have shown up on their markers eventually. Now Iron Bull and Leliana are missing but even waiting around doesn't seem to be working to get them to show up. Oddly, I have active quests for both these guys right now... coincidence? Anyone? quite annoying since Leliana's is a plot advancing point and I'd really like to talk to her....
