Missing dialogues in DLCs

First of all sorry for my english, im spanish and im doing my best :P , and second..  MANY THANKS !!! FOR ALL OF YOU, and yess Lyvine your solution works great !!, i writed the same question days before but no one answered... and you finaly solved my problem with my dlc voices and the "dragon age 2 is not installed " with the dlc exe , i always installed all in the default origin folder.. and always get the same problem

but now i first time enjoy my dlc voices in dragon age 2 :D many thx seriously 🙂

DA2 DLCs are applications, I cant do anything with it but open an installing programme.

Hi,thank you for your solution, I see it helped a lot of people but i can't follow it, in fact after I created the folder plugins I'm supposed  to extract the content of $PLUGINSDIR in it but  I can't find it! Where am I supposed to find $PLUGINSDIR?   Would you please help me or anyone would explain that again? :womantongue:

It's been a while since this problem was solved, but I'm having the same issue, no voices whatsoever, and I was trying your solution, but when I open the .exe files in 7zip there are no $[34] or $_OUTDIR folders in there, there are just 3 folders: $PLUGINSDIR, $TEMP and $_2_, so I'm not sure of what I have to do.

I downloaded the files from the Social Entitlements page, I don't know if that has something to do with what's going on here.

Anyways, it would be great if you can help, I don't think I would enjoy the DLCs as much without the voices.

Hi Lyvine. Sorry to bother you and sorry to point out the same exact problem as anyone else here. As someone pointed out before I'm doing Repentance and no dialogues or texts are present in the gameplay. I read your solution and I'd like to try it, hoping it'll work. The only problem is that - I have to admit - I am a little bit of a noob when it comes to this kind of things. You said open my DLCs folders but I can't find them. I installed the game using the default folders (Program Files x86 etc...). Do you know where i can find the DLCs folders? Thank you and sorry for the trouble :eahigh_file:

It worked for me. The only differerence it was no $_OUTDIR folder for me. So I just extracted $PLUGINSDIR+ dlc main content in Origin Games<Dragon Age II<addins<DLC name folder.

Hi, i have a problem with DLC Legacy to Dragon age 2. When i install DLC from Origin i don't have voice. But when i downland DLC from Bioware social network i can't install it, because DLC don't find the Dragon Age 2. I want have a voice in Legacy. I did what you said, but when I started the game I couldn't begin dlc. (but wrote that i have Legacy) When i turned off and on origin i didn't have Legacy. I can only download it from Origin. What i should do to have voice in game?

I've finally got it !

Since I spent hours trying to understand what Lyvine was saying, I decided to share my success with everyone instead of just saying thank you to Lyvine.

First, create a new folder called plugins in your Dragon Age II directory (usually Origin Games<Dragon Age II).

Then you need to download again the DLC(s)s files just here : https://social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.php

Once it's done, use 7-zip or else, click right, select 7-zip, then open archive. You have 3 different folders :  $[34] or $_2_ / $TEMP / $PLUGINSDIR

This is where we get to Lyvine's explanation. 

 Extract the content of $PLUGINSDIR in the plugins folder, that you just created. You will only have to do this once.

Then open $[34] or $_2_ , open addins, then the folder da2_prc_drk (Legacy). Extract everything in it to Origin Games<Dragon Age II<addins, (if it's Legacy go to Origin Games<Dragon Age II<addins<da2_prc_drk). Click "yes to all" when it is asked if you wish to change your folders. Do the same thing for the other DLC(s). 

TADAAAAA it's working !!!

I didn't find any folder with this name, $_OUTDIR, like Lyvine said, but anyway it still worked for me.

I found I miss some item description in the Fan Reward Pack. Sadly Bioware no longer has download links for it on it's syte. Does anyone know where I could find a manual installer for the Fan Reward Pack or for the Promotional content bundle in which it is also contained?

I can't actually see ANY text - no item names, no text in Yes/No windows, etc. in DLCs after choosing English. Works fine in Russian, but I don't want that.
