Mission will not progress bug/thing

So I already sent in a bug report but I thought that I should also share. Today I decided to play a little bit of DA:I and I was having a good time but then after I finished killing all of the Avaar and released the bear nothing, the quest would not progress. Was a little bit annoyed at that but then I went and worked for a couple of hours and came back and decided to make a new character. So I get her all the way to the final area of the first mission, I kill the rift talk to Cullen finish cutscene and then I notice that it is telling me that I need to go and seal the rift that I just sealed, thought it was nothing more than the game telling me to go the wrong way, I get all the way to the bottom to the area where you fight the pride demon, but no audio queues, no talking about red Lyrium and no cutscene. So I go back up and low and behold the map is telling me to go over a barrier that cannot be passed to seal a non-existent rift. So I reloaded the game 3 more times and the same thing every time. Seal rift, go into cutscene, finish cutscene, tells me to go back and seal the rift again. Now I have not tried going up the mountain pass to save the patrol which I might try now, but I thought that it would be a good thing to share and report

@tahkos I believe that prologue problem is a bug I've seen several people with, though I can't remember if it was on here or on one of the mod sites, it's been a while. What platform are you on? If you're on PC, were you using any mods when you were having the prologue bug? Have you tried repairing the game? Do you have Trespasser installed? A dxdiag might be helpful for us to look at.

Often times prologue glitches are due to command line arguments. If you have one try removing it until after the prologue. The cutscene FPS fix is notorious for bugging out the prologue, other arguments might also cause issues there.
