Movement problems: third floor, Circle Tower

The doorway after the Great Hall where you have three of the Watchguard of the Reaching statues.  There was a trap in the doorway which my rogue warden disarmed but which is still there and appears to block entry.  Now I can no longer enter this room and thus can't go after unopened chests and can't touch the final Watchguard of the Reaching statue.  I've never had this problem before.  What's happening and how do I correct it?
