[Multiplayer] New area of the Elven Ruins?

It's part of the Destruction Multiplayer Pack:

But Destruction has been out for 2 months now, and even though I've been playing multiplayer for several hours each and every day for these 2 months I've only encountered this area -once-, unlike the other new things added by Destruction like the wild life that are very frequently used (which also rules out the possibility that I've had the bad luck of only playing with people who don't have the DLC installed).

It seems odd that it would be by design that it occurs so rarely, so I'm curious how frequently other players encounter it. I'm thinking there must be some bug involved.

After further testing, it does show up fine when I play solo, but I'm so far been unable to encounter the new path when playing with other people. I suppose it's possible I've just had an amazingly bad luck just getting paired with players who don't have the DLC installed every single match for the past two months, but it seems highly unlikely *shrug*.
