My DA:I will not start after downloading Emporium Dragonslayer latest patch

Played the game for 30+ hours with no mods, no problems. Last night (5/8/15), I realized origin updated to latest patch. Played for a bit, no problem. Then downloaded Black Emporium and Dragonslayer ...

Yup it is, I had the same problem as you, close it down via your task bar, then hit ctrl alt and del to bring up the task manager and end all processes that have it... no idea what is up. But that will take care of it... I figured this out by accident just trying to narrow it down what could be causing it, something with the new content and the synapse stuff is causing a conflict for the activation UI... Not sure if its on EA's end or on Razer's end=/ But that will get the game running for you.

Thanks uninstalled Razer Synapse, bam it worked thank you !

  NP, I keep mine installed, I just disable it when I want to run the game for now, It needs to be fixed by ea or razer whoever is at fault for this.
