Well here it goes. i'll start off by saying DA:O was one of my favorite games, I still play it. DA2 just sucked, it was a step backwards(or more of a leap) compared to DA:O. I was hoping the third i...
Firstly, "BioWare" isn't here. You see the "EA Answer HQ" there? EA means "not the ones who decided how the gameplay would be", Answer means you kind of need to have a question. If you're looking to make a point about your insatisfaction as a customer/player/etc, the place you're looking for is the BioWare feedback boards, where you'll be able to echo the complaints of a bunch of people.
Second, as unimaginable as it might be to you, DA2 is beloved by many. I for one don't see what makes it an "epic fail". If you were looking for a game where you could COMPLETELY customize how your character will fight, I think you were looking for TES. Being a difficult and strategy-heavy game was never Dragon Age's focus: it is and has always been the story and character interaction and for those things they'll make the game as acessible as possible. I'm not criticizing you for having your opinion, just suggesting that no, you can't get everything that is ideal to you in one game (since people have different preferences). I don't really know why they limit the equipment for classes, but honestly, it never worked in DAO. If your mage wants to carry a dagger and stab some people he's gonna die in the first tough battle you get. You give a warrior a bow and they're gonna suck, give rogues a sword and they're gonna suck. The battle system is not refined enough for that. You're talking about a potential that was never present in the series. The game still has high replay value simply because it has many variables through it's plot, from character creation to the endings.
And finally, you can ask for a refund in 24h if you bought from Origin as far as I know.
First of all your right I wasn't asking a question, I was stating my opinion. I posted here because when I searched on how to leave feed back this is where it sent me. I was on the DA Inquisition home page.
Now if you want to chime in on how wrong I am maybe you should get you facts straight. You sound as if you've never played DAO. A warrior with a bow was deadly and fun to play with. Heck a warrior with daggers also kicked **bleep**. Also you could make a mage that would cast spells and carry a sword and shield or dual wield. That was one of the ways to solo the game. To say DA2 is beloved by many is kind of stretching it a little, maybe a few. I've been to the DA forums and its been hated on since its release. With the success of the first they could have continued on that path and made a blockbuster, instead they tried something else. It was a huge failure, so much so that they quit making DLC early due to lack of interest. Did they learn from this? No and thats apperent in the third installment that i predict is going to flop like DA2.
