My Qunari character can equip helmets, but can't equip vitaar.

My Qunari can't equip Vitaar either. I haven't tried putting on helmets since they're supposed to be restricted to elf/human/dwarf, but I guess I'll give it a shot.
My game is acting like my Qunari isn't a Qunari. No idea why, seeing as it was working earlier today
