    You asked for it 🙂

Per the EA demigod Nils (joke) below is their reccommendation, however, read what I post below that.

    http://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/INFO-DA-I-System-Requirements/m-p/3983865#U3983865

    Recommended*:

    OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit

CPU: AMD six core CPU @ 3.2 GHz; Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz

    System RAM: 8 GB

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 or R9 270; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

    Graphics Memory: 2 GB

    Hard Drive: 26 GB

    DirectX: 11

I have helped many of friend build PC's and build my own myself and I will give you the same advice as I give them; buy the best PC you can afford because, like a car, it will lose value the minute you boot it up and newer and cheaper stuff comes out.

But if you build wisely, it can last years. I built a decent PC in 2003 for about $1,200 and it will still run nearly any game on the market today; abet not on max resolution. If you want bang for your buck, I suggest getting everything second tier (just out of date or newest version was just released). A lot of value can be found there.  This is because a common mistake people make is the focus on the processor, and not enough on the other components.

Imagine the flow of Xs and Os (the speed of a PC) as water flowing through a hose. Each component is a crimp that can slow the flow down. No matter how top of the line your Processor is, if your video card is suspect, then it might run Windows and Word fast, but gaming will suck. I suggest your priorities as follows if looking at a gaming PC. ($1000-$1300) Minus Operating System, I like my Windows 7.

    1. Video Card (www.tomshardware.com most current monthly recommendation’s) ($300+)

    2. Processor ($150-200) i7s are not that much better than i5s and "usually" not worth the bang for gaming buck.

    3. Power Supply ($75-100) If your heart dies, it could kill everything, do not skimp!

    4. Mother Board (USB 3.0 and at least two SATA 6.0Gb/s is a must) and if you plan on upgrading down the road, make sure it is SLI ($100-150)

    5. Memory 8GB ($55-80)

    6. SATA 6.0Gb/s SSD Hard Drive for Operating System ($100-125)

    7. 1+ TB SATA 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive ($100-125)

    8. Case (Last but far from least, so do not skimp) ($100-150) Coolmaster HAF are the standard, especially the bigger mid towers that have plenty of room for growth and video cards.

Final Note: Go with Major Brand names with the best guarantee being the tie breaker. Below is my newest build from last year that I expect will run high end games for years to come.  Almost everything I purchased was on sale and I took about a month before I ordered everything..be patient if possible, retail would have driven my PC cost up by $20-$50 per conponent.

    $428   EVGA 02G-P4-2678-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW 2GB

    $_47   G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3

    $_80   OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal SSD

$_80   COOLER MASTER RC-692A-KKN5 Black Steel + Mesh bezel ATX Mid Tower Case

    $195   Intel Core i5 3570K Processor 3.4 4 BX80637I53570K AND Intel

BOXDZ77BH55K LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI, DP, SATA 6Gsb/s USB 3.0 ATX MB

    $_80   Window 7 Professional

    $100   800w Power Supply

    $-20 Rebates = Total Build = $990

Not counting keyboard, mouse, speakers/headset and screen.  I use a 60” LG plasma and it is awesome! Good luck and GAME ON!

    Game On......!

Both the CPU and the GPU are in the middle zones, both could certainly stand aside for some speedier replacements.
