No Amulets of Power through War Table Missions. Between this and releasing the DLC for Xboxone and PC only (for now), not ethical behavior.
Yes, because EA is so well known for its ethical behaviour and winning G"amer Frendly" awards.The issue has been raised to the studio so all there's to do now is to wait for the official response.
My personal guess is that the amulets have been removed on purpose, it's not like they were necessary to the game as your followers have their ability bar filled rather quickly anyway.
Perhaps they very slightly increased the xp gain to compensate? I don't know.

You are missing the point. Points actually because there are many of them:
First and most important is that this is "save breaking bug". You encounter it once and BAM=your save is permanently * up. there is no way to repair your save. 30, 40, 50 gamehours goes automatically down the drain. Its kinda important for those completionist types. And if Bioware/EA plans to release additional DLCs, that makes matter even worse. Maybe You have time to spare and restart your game as much as You want but some of us cant spare so much time.
Secondly this is patch bug. They literally [removed bad language] by allowing a monkey with a keyboard to do their patching. Kinda unforgivable.
Third: No official info if they want to patch it up or leave it as it is. No info or fix on patch 6 although there is unoffical fix. If this stays at it is=no problem. If they arent doing [removed bad language] because new money making DLC is more important=not cool.
