Just a vague "we are investigating this issue," but at least there is some acknowledgment.
I think this is the first time they have even acknowledged they are aware of the issue, no? If they are looking into it, that would at least seem to confirm for the first time, that removing the amulets was unintentional, which would suggest they might eventually be put back.
Maybe they'll put them all back in a forthcoming patch, or maybe not. But I think once they see how many are no longer showing up in the game (especially in the fade and the Cold Endured) , there will be some kind of fix to put at least some of the amulets back.
I've stopped playing the game completely since patch 5, hoping to hear one way or another whether the amulets were gone for good. with limited free time I allow myself one complete playthrough of a game normally, unless it's very short. With a game as long as DA:I, there is simply no way I will go through it a second time. And if something is missing that might be patched back in later, the optimal use of my time is simply to wait until it's either it's fixed with a patch in, or until I get confirmation it won't be fixed. And I won't be buying any DLC until that happens either.
On the positive side, I've gotten more done at work in the last month and a half than usual, and my yard is looking pretty good.
