No DLC-Content ingame at DA2

I recently reinstalled DA2 and all the DLCs. I also unlocked them im Dragon Age Keep and synced the account. I am also logged into the same EA-account ingame. But all DLCs (except of the black empori...

@Amagra Gotcha. This may actually may be more account related. If you have run through all the steps provided that would fix this, we need someone to go through the account.

For these older titles, unauthorized only means a few things. Either you don't own it and someone else downloaded it, the downloads are corrupted, or you have content on a save that you don't own. That happens a lot with EA Play subs when they expire.

Before you do that though, I want to make sure you have run through the below. This way you can list in the case and I can tell you specifically what to put in the case so there is no confusion

Steam
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common - Delete from the installer or add-ons every folder you see for content or DLC

EA App default location

C:\Program Files\Dragon Age II\addins

C:\Program Files\Dragon Age II\__Installer\DLC

Once ALL DLC folders are wiped out. Delete Windows Temp Files

First, make sure you close as many programs as you can

Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer

Type in %temp%, and hit Enter

Delete everything it allows you to delete

Reboot the PC

Optional Registry clean-up

install CCleaner (it's free) from here

Run Registry cleaner

Click fix all

Do not back up files

Empty your Recycle Bin. Then go back in, download them all again, and when you launch the game, go into settings/account and make sure that you see your EA email linked there that owns all the content.

Go into downloadable content and make sure ALL DLC is listed there. Test it.

Hey there,

still having this issue and I already tried the reinstall. Honestly, I gave up on this due to late support. Definitly not good, when u consider, that the problem is EA-made by disabling Origin and so many people having the same issue over years.

@Amagra I understand it's frustrating for sure. We cannot do much about what happened in Origin, we can only focus on what is happening in the now with the EA App. When you downloaded the Black Impoirium, and you are playing through the story, it will be entered into your Journal upon loading a game.

When you log into the game, are you also logged into your EA account in the settings?

What should happen is you visit Gamlen's House to find a charming letter from Xenon, who extends a cordial invitation to his highly secretive Black Emporium. Reading this letter opens up the location on the Kirkwall map. If this isn't happening, the game is not syncing up with that specific DLC.

I saw you had EA Play at the same time the content was added to the account. Did you download this from EA Play or was it purchased? If this was from EA Play then this would explain why it isn't working, but if It was purchased, then we would need to speak with Live Support in order to possibly just replace it for you if possible that way when you download it, it is a new download.

The issue is not the Black Emporium. It's working as intended. The issue are all other DLCs, which aren't working. I owned them on Origin. After the transfer to EA App, they are all gone. I installed them manually and unlocked them again in Dragon Age Keep. They don't work. And yes, I am logged into me EA Account in the settings.Unlocking triumphs at döDragon Age Keep worked.

  So the Black Emporium itself works, but all other DLCs for the game are not showing up in the game. That is a lot of content which you can find here. If the BE works, others should too because some are tied into each other.

    Yes, I installed all of them manually. Several times. They appear in the DLC-Menu, but are all unauthorized, as I mentioned in the opening post. I can't find any of the content ingame.
