No mouse pointer/arrow/cursor in game.

I purchased dragon age inquisition and the game was relatively problem free. However about a week or two ago there was an update on the origin game client now all my games are acting funny. Not just inquistion but other games that were already on my coputer and trouble free for years like mass efffect 1-3

, and the previous dragon ages. THe problem is when I load the game the mouse pointer /cursor dissapears. Im talking about the little golden shield or sword

or whatever it is. The thing that lets you point and click on enemies, start conversations , choose menus , make upgrades to your character,etc. Pretty much the most important piece of the gaming interface. Needless to say the game(games) have been rendered unplayable.THe "point" of click and shoot  is to be able to see what you are clicking on , now I can't even do that. THere is no way to control the direction or actions of the character. There is no way to access menus or other option as well. I thought it was my video card so I checked the drivers they are all up to date. And the mouse  works fine on any non origin game. Needless to say I payed a lot of money for inquisition between preorder and tax it came to $80.00 I was enjoying the game ,

but now I cant even play it. Please give my a fix to this problem.
