Not earning XP on Dragon Age Inquisition

Is this any type of XP? If you are talking research xp, most kinds of creatures require a certain number of items to be turned in before you get to the stage where bonus damage is awarded. If you look in the codex, the creature card will have a progress bar that needs to be filled to get the second star on the card (there are 2 stars on the top right of the card). Low level hunting creatures will stop giving xp early because you too many levels above them (nugs, fennecs). If you go into tactical mode before a fight, you can select an enemy and it should show their level among other things. Try fighting an enemy at or above your level and see if you get any xp. If you read books you should also get xp. Or close a rift and get some xp. If none of these things work, your game might be broken somehow. Trying starting a second character and see if xp is earned on the second character. If so the first characters game might be the only thing with an issue, not the game. If so, it might be the patch has caused another bug, though I haven't seen complaints of that on the bioware patch thread, only graphic and frame rate issues.

Same here!. But seems to happen only when fighting enemies. I even fought spider for the first time they were level like me and sometimes i get no xp. Maybe cuz i didnt get the finishing blow?!???? Google search brings me here and cant find a clear answer

Actually, it's "Three levels higher than the enemy" when you get zero XP.

Now i am not getting xp sometimes when i read books.....would be nice of EA to adress the problem. If the game is made like that to prevent leveling up too fast i dont care but i just wanna know my game isnt bugged after sinking 50+ hours into it.
