Hi all.
I have recently encountered a bug where a number of NPCs won't talk to me when I click them, such as Bodahn the dwarf merchant in the party camp and the bartender in the Gnawed Noble Tavern, who I need to speak to in order to finish a quest.
This appears to affect all saves on the character concerned. Would re-installing the game fix this, or is there another fix available?

This is not a problem others have reported.
Which platform are you on?
If PC, any mods installed?
Community Manager@cosades27 Generally when this issue occurs try reloading saves and/or quick traveling as doing so will usually help "stuck" objects or NPCs get unstuck. Leaving the area entirely and returning may help too.
@ThandalNLyman This actually is an issue that others have reported and the fix is generally quite easy, would recommend making a note of it if you ever see it happen when playing yourself.
@EA_Darko; Well, the OP did say that the problem was occurring "with all saves...."
And in almost ten years of playing DAO, and helping others in on-line communities numbering in the millions who are playing it, I've never heard of this issue. But almost all of that was on the PC. (Which is why I asked which platform.)
Community Manager@ThandalNLyman A quick search of this forum brings up people reporting this issue as does a fast google search. It's always best to check these things out before stating that others have not reported it.
