NVidia Optimus (GTX00M) Cannot Run in Fullscreen Mode

So, when I try to run DAI it flashes between what would be fullscreen and a window for several seconds, before settling on a window which isn't even the size that it's supposed to be running on. When...

Update: I am running at 1440p with a 96Hz refresh rate. If I select 1080p @ 60 Hz the fullscreen works. I can then switch it to 1440p @ 60 Hz and it will still work. If I try using 1440p @ 96 Hz then the game screen flickers and does not work. Maybe this will help isolate the issue?
