Just pinging this thread to keep it in my history. Also somewhat of a PSA to 850/860 owners: The MSAA really kills the FPS in borderless windowed mode! My 4GB Maxwell 860M can run everything in ultra / fade touched at 1920x1080 as long as I turn off MSAA entirely, and to be honest the difference isn't all that noticeable. The increase in all other visual settings is definitely worth it! I should mention that I'm not an absolute zealot for steady 60FPS, as long as I'm above 30, usually hovering around 45, I'm happy.

I strongly doubt that an 860M will be able to run fade touched and MSAA, regardless of windowed vs full screen. I have a maxwell 860m myself and see no performance difference between the window vs full screen.
