[Old Report] Cannot Import a Custom World State to Dragon Age Inquisition

I have tried all available troubleshooting suggestions, but I have been unable to load a Custom World State from the Dragon Age Keep to my Dragon Age Inquisition Game.  I am playing on a PC; I have only ever had one Origin account, I have tried disabling my antivirus protection, even uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game on my computer.  I have created new world states in the Keep and tried uploading them; nothing.  when I start a new game I never have anything available except to confirm the default world state.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  • I assume when you go to dragonage keep and click on Default world state in top right it then opens up the tab and shows your choices that you wanted and they are correct??  You have locked that state in to be used??  The email and profile matches what you have for your account??

If you go to multiplayer, can DAI access servers??

  • Having exactly the same problem. I've previosuly played through the game with a custom world save, but upon starting a new game I repeatedly get the message "to import a custom world state log in to dragonagekeep.com". Yet when I go to the keep I'm told that I've already imported by world state. I've tried creating a new custom world state and using that but I have the same problem. Not sure what's causing it but it seems to have stopped working since the latest update.

Everything in the Keep is absolutely correct, and it even indicates a successful import to DAI, however, when I return to the game and attempt to start a new game, I never get the option to import a custom world state, only to confirm the default world state. Frustrating. I'm about ready to pull the pin on the whole thing..... I'm going to try reloading Origin, maybe that will shake something loose. Any other suggestions?

I got it working by entering multiplayer and backing out. Seemed to fix the connection.
