[old Report] Last Resort of a Good Man bug - tavern encounter doesn't happen

Well, pretty much everything I needed to say is in the title. I looked up bugs pertaining to this quest and most people are talking about a problem getting it started, but I already did that, and my problem comes in getting it to the cutscene. I read that the cutscene is supposed to initiate when you bring Dorian into the tavern. I tried this with my player character selected, with Dorian selected, and at one point I even dropped everyone from my party except for Dorain to see if that was the problem but nothing worked. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Loading the auto save from the tavern seems to work.

I have exactly the same problem! I started it but when I go inside the tavern with Dorian it is just an empty tavern. No matter how many times I reload and go in & out still the same.

Same, sometimes I have to go in and out as many as 15 times to get it to trigger. Have not tried since patch 3 as I need a new game to do that and, have not gotten that far yet.

If you take over as Dorian and then re-enter the Tavern...it will load properly. Enjoy!
