Online Connection

I have recently reinstalled DA:I on my newly rebuilt PC and I now can't connect to the Dragon Age servers. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both origin and DA:I and had no progress.

All I get are these messages: "Not connected to the Dragon Age server. Connect to access multiplayer mode and the Dragon Age Keep Website, to make decisions from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, and upload  Dragon Age: Inquistion Campaign Progress".  What i find funny is that my save from another computer at my friends house was available on this computer right after install.  So it clearly has some connection.  When I try to Log In all I get is "Online connection- You must be signed in to Origin to access online features.  Please go online in the Origin window and try again."  But I'm already online with origin since I can access my account from the ingame origin window and i'm logged in on the origin hub from which I launched DA:I.

I have gone trhough pages of stuff in the forums lookig for a solution but have found nothing despide it being marked as solved.  I was wondering if anyone has found an actual solution for this or is it just being ignored?

  • One simple thing to check is that Origin is in Online mode, not offline mode. Origin can be up and running on your computer, but if it is in offline mode it prevents DAI from using any online features. If you don't like to automatically patch your game, this is the only way to play DAI while a new patch is available but not installed.

  • It's been in Online Mode the entire time.  That's why I'm confused with the problem.  I have even turned it to offline and then restarted it and then turned it back to online mode.
