Party banter disappeared with patch 3
Prior to patch 3 updating automatically I had no issues whatsoever with party banter not triggering as reported by several players - after this patch installed I get nothing,absolutely nothing at all...

Further to my post above, I decided to start a new Inquisitor last night to test a theory I've seen around (and because I have been meaning to do the Cass romance so it wasn't a waste of time). This morning I finally got into the Hinterlands to spend some serious time there and I've been having banter fire at the rates I used to get before patch 3 and possibly even better. And although I have dealt with the templar encampment, I haven't dealt with the apostates so there are still regular combat encounters. I've had banter firing right after combat encounters as well.
So I'm inclined to tentatively conclude that the problem lies with playthroughs and their associated saves started pre-patch 3. Admittedly it's a very small sample size (you know, of one 😕mileyhappy🙂 so if anyone else wants to try this and see whether they get regular banter with a new quizzy, it might be worth the effort.
